Is a very attractive village in the West Suffolk countryside with many amenities including the community run village shop, our very own post office and two public houses, The Rose & Crown in the heart of the village and The Plough at Brockley Green. Large playing fields cater for football, cricket and many other sporting activities take place on the astro turf court, and allotments a plenty off Church Street! The village hall and social club hold many regular events which attract many visitors from outside, and local residents alike. These can be seen in the 'What's On' section of the village website at www.hundon-village.co.uk
Hundon Parish Council
The Parish Council usually meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Dates of the meetings are detailed in the Hundon Herald, Hundon websites and Hundon Facebook and also the notice board at the village hall.
The Parish Council has a duty (since 1 April 2015) to publish draft minutes within one month of the meeting. These draft minutes can be found on this website. However it must be reiterated that the minutes are only a draft document and do not become an official record of the Parish Council meeing until they are approved at the next Parish Council meeting. If you would like to view the minutes from earlier than published on this site, please contact the Parish Clerk. Agendas for forthcoming meetings can also be found on this page. The Parish Council has a duty to publish information to comply with the new Transparency Code. Every item of expenditure incurred by the Parish Council is listed within the minutes of the monthly meetings (as an appendix) and summarised within the annual accounts.
